Executive Assistant to the CEO

About the Role:

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will play a critical role in supporting the Group CEO’s day-to-day operations
and strategic engagements. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organizational
capability to effectively manage complex schedules, international communications, and cross-border
coordination. Fluency in both English and French is essential to facilitate seamless engagement with diverse
stakeholders across Africa and beyond.
The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, ensuring the CEO is fully supported
in driving organizational priorities, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Roles/Duties & Responsibilities

  • Executive Support: Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and communications, ensuring priorities align with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO with Board members, partners, clients, and internal teams, including translation of documents and communications between English and French.
  • Travel & Logistics: Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, visas, accommodation, and transport.
  • Support the CEO in monitoring progress of key initiatives, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with high accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive information with utmost integrity and discretion.
  • Represent the CEO’s office with professionalism and diplomacy in all interactions.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with the CEO’s vision and organizational objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years’ experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant, preferably supporting C-suite leaders in multinational organizations.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Strong calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting planning skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
